Shreds Parody Slipknot and Creed

Published by Ryan Edmunds at 3:13 pm under Features Edit This

When it comes to syncing new sounds to any pre-recorded video content, the possibilities are limitless. This can be seen in a recent YouTube phenomenon called “Shreds”. Shreds are re-dubbed videos of well known musicians with parodied music and vocals synced up with what’s happening in the video. Most of the time the result is hilarious.

You can find shreds on just about any artist by searching Google Video and YouTube. It all seems to have originated with Creed and there are a whole bunch of funny ones shredding that band alone. Here is one of my favorites. Please be advised that this video contains some explicit content and is rated R.

This next one is surprisingly just good clean fun and parodies Slipknot. This one is seriously on my list of greatest things seen.
